  • Land Management Wing under Forest Conservation Act, 1980, after Registration does processing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of diversion cases of forest land used for non-forestry purposes.
  • Notification proposal is sent to the Government to declare undemarcated Protected Forest as Reserved Forest under section 4(1) of the Indian Forest Act, 1927. 
  • Forest roads existing prior to 1980 are approved for asphaltization / upgradation under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana and action is taken upon cases of road which came into existence after 1980 as per the provisions of Forest Conservation Act, 1980. 
  • Forest Rights Certificates are distributed to the scheduled tribes and other traditional forest dwellers who are in possession of the forest land since last three generation under the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006. 
  • Demarcation and pillar construction work of Orange areas and area of Forest Rights Certificate owners is carried out under the Forest Rights Act, 2006.
  • Maintenance of information in 30 and 52 columns formats for monitoring of Physical/ Financial allocation related to CAMPA.
  • Coordinating Disaster Management Cell.
