process will be based on three principles which are:

Devolution of forest management, responsibility and practicing of sustainable harvesting rules to be gradually shifted to the people. |
The
ultimate aim will be to facilitate enabling solutions among the people so
that they become prime custodians of the forest resources as well as
making people aware of the benefits of sustainable harvesting techniques.
This will also lead to improvement in the quality of produce obtained from
the forests. |

ACCREDITATION AND VALIDATION |

Process documentation will be prepared by the societies – following "chain of custody" rules. |
Such process will be validated by inviting nationally and internationally reputed and credible certifying bodies – such as INDOCERT and other certification accrediting organization. |
